Why would I park in downtown Minneapolis and use the light rail train to get to the airport?

You are guaranteed a parking spot at Ramp C and you’ll save big - paying only $3 per day after the first day. Airport parking lots can fill up quickly and cost much more.

How is Ramp-Ride-Fly priced compared to parking at the airport or other surrounding park & fly lots?

Much less! You will pay only $3 per day after the first day (with a minimum 3-day stay). And, a ticket on the light rail train will only cost you $1.50 one-way or $2.00 one-way during rush hours. This means more money in your pocket!

How do I make a reservation to use Ramp-Ride-Fly?

Make your reservation here. You will need to complete an online form to initiate a reservation. An ABC Ramps representative will contact you via phone for your payment information. You will receive a confirmation email. Please print and carry with you on your trip.

How often does the train run between downtown stations and the airport?

The trains run frequently. Find specific LRT route and schedule information at metrotransit.org.

What if I decide to extend my travel plans?

Call (612) 343-PARK and let us know your return date so that we can update our system.

Will my vehicle be towed if I don’t return on the exact date I specified in my reservation request?

No, but please call us in advance. You will continue to receive the discounted daily parking rate up to day 16. After 16 days, the full daily rate will be enforced.

What happens if my flight is delayed and I don’t return until after hours? Does the light rail train run after midnight? Will I still be able to access the parking ramp?

If you return after hours, please call our security team at (612) 343-PARK and let them know your approximate time of arrival. They will provide a security escort to your car. The last train leaves the Mall of America for downtown around 1:30 a.m. and doesn’t run again until 4 a.m. You may need to take a cab or call someone to pick you up at the airport.

What if I lose my ticket?

With the reservation system, you will use your credit card to drive in and out of the facility, so you won’t have to worry about keeping track of a ticket.

Why do I have to swipe my card to gain access and exit the ramp?

With our automated equipment, your credit card is your means of access in and out of the ramp. You can travel without worrying about losing a ticket.

How close is Ramp C to the light rail train station?

The ramp is within sight of the light rail train. You’ll only have to walk a few steps in order to get to the station.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?

Call us at (612) 343-PARK at least 24 hours in advance to cancel with no penalty.
